The Scientista Executive Team is in charge of the planning and execution of our various events, collecting and sharing STEMM-related resources and opportunities, and maintaining our ongoing initiatives such as podcasts and blogs. For more information on the individual jobs of our various committees please see the “Our Committees” tab. Hiring for exec positions opens mid-March every academic year with some positions such as First Year Representatives opening in late-September.
Become a Scientista Volunteer

If you’d like a more hands-on involvement in our events with a lower commitment than what being an exec requires, consider being a Scientista Volunteer. Volunteers help promote the club’s mission by assisting our executive team at boothing events and at other initiatives, for which responsibilities may vary. We accept volunteers year-round on an as-needed basis, based on your availability. You will be contacted via email when opportunities arise.
Note that we are not currently accepting volunteer applications due to the remote nature of our events this year.
What it Means to be a General Member

Being a Scientista general member simply requires that you are signed up for our mailing list. This will ensure that you are notified about upcoming events and other relevant opportunities. Attending these events is a great way to get to know our executive and volunteer team as well as make connections with faculty and professionals in STEMM to advance your career.
