SPEAKER SERIES
Queen's Scientista is proud to host one Speaker Series every semester, covering a range of topics all designed to support women in STEMM and foster discussion. Every Speaker Series provides the perspective of unique panelists, as well as the opportunity for students to ask questions and network.

MENTORSHIP
Queen's Scientista hosts a variety of different mentorship events that allow undergraduate women and allies to connect with their upper year peers. These events allow first and second-years to discuss their programs, network, and learn from upper year mentors.

Through connecting these students with mentors, Scientista seeks to empower and inspire self-identifying women, gender non-conforming individuals and allies in STEMM to seek out the advice and knowledge of their peers.

EXAM DESTRESSOR
Scientista's exam destressors aim to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety that comes with exam season. These quick, low-commitment events range from candy tables to craft sessions, all with the goal of helping students recharge.

WORKSHOPS
In collaboration with Career Services, Queen's Scientista hosts an annual workshop on varying themes with the aim of educating and empowering women and allies in STEMM to seek out the different career paths available to them.​

GENERAL MEMBERS MEETING
Queen's Scientista hosts meetings for general members and interested students to learn more about our mission, our upcoming events and how to get involved with Scientista.
